Ability to perform all duties and responsibilities of the position with a constant focus on Knoll Objectives.

  • Develop, create, and input bill of material structures in conjunction with the price list pattern numbers for the Knoll manufacturing database. This includes all products and all sites.

  • Manage and maintain assigned product line databases.

  • Provide systemic database workflow solutions for assignments received through the ECN system.

  • Work within a team environment, which involves on site associates and associates from the other sites.

  • Work independently with minimal supervision

  • Follow all Knoll safety expectations.

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

  • Comfortable in a fast paced environment with ability to be flexible with work hours.

  • Commitment to quality.


  • Proficient computer skills:

  • JDE familiarity with essential database programs.

  • Word and Excel especially with the manipulation of simple and complex macros.

  • Above average keyboarding skills.

  • Methodical approach to work and attention to the details.

  • Ability to think analytically and logically to sequentially assemble the information.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (both oral and written).

  • Excellent problem solving and networking skills

  • Excellent math skills with the ability to perform calculations and use formulas.

Required Skills

Education Requirement

  • BA/BS in Business or related field or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience Requirement

  • Significant experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

  • 2 to 3 years experience working within the JDE manufacturing environment menus coupled with product knowledge /product definition knowledge company wide.

  • Comprehension of Knoll’s manufacturing process concepts an asset.

  • Possess a broad understanding of JDE configuration rule writing, data transfer, report generation, mass create, world writers and dream writers.

  • Must posses the abilities of task prioritization, multi-tasking, flexibility and working within tight deadlines

  • Able to read engineering drawings and have an acute attention for detail.
