POSITION PROFILE

The Sales Operations Manager provides support and counsel to the Sales Operations Director and Sales Leadership in the Northern Division. Essential responsibilities of this role are supporting, improving and driving the sales organizations’ effectiveness. Additional key responsibilities include general budget management, planning, forecasting, pipeline management, development of key metrics, reporting, analysis and recommendations, quota setting and management.

  • Work out of our corporate HQ in East Greenville, PA, Philadelphia, PA or New York, NY

  • Pro-active self-starter with a desire to partner with sales leaders and to provide much needed financial support

  • Comfortable dealing with complex business systems and processes

  • Willing to identify and implement new solutions

  • Able to multi-task and meet time sensitive deadlines

Required Skills

  • BS/BA in Business or related field required

  • 5+ years of relevant experience

  • High level of organization and prioritization skills

  • Good decision-making skills, ability to manage project work

  • High degree of professional judgment; ability to generate trust and retain confidentiality

  • Ability to troubleshoot, identify the root cause of, and develop and implement effective solutions to problems

  • Excellent communication skills: oral, written and presentation to various levels within the organization

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and full integrate into a sales team

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (proficiency in Excel), experience with CRM programs, Salesforce.com experience a plus

Required Experience

  • At minimum, 5 years of experience in sales and/or financial analysis, financial modeling, forecasting, planning

  • Prepare timely month end, quarter end, and year-end financial reporting

  • Build top-down and bottom-up forecasts

  • Implement new reporting metrics

  • Engage and educate business leaders about financial results and trends

  • Support the annual planning process

  • Facilitate ad-hoc analysis as requested by the business
