POSITION PROFILE

Set the goals, resources and tone of selling activities in the eastern half of North American markets, including Canada. Lead a team of sellers to maximize each market’s potential and represent the KnollTextiles brand with A&D specifiers, clients and furniture dealers. Provide direction, support, and motivation to sales associates to grow sales and profitability of the business. Reporting to the President of KnollTextiles, this position is a key member of the KnollTextiles management team, in close collaboration with design, marketing and operational functions.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Must possess ability to communicate effectively to present company products, position, and objectives to associates, management, designers, customers, dealers and professional organizations

  • Generate ideas to continuously improve Sales Service performance

  • Must be able to manage and interpret financial numbers and make sound decisions that relate to profitability

  • Responsible for negotiating pricing and resolving customer issues

  • Requires administrative knowledge in the areas of finance, contracts and human resources

  • Commitment to quality

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic planning

  • Reviewing metrics and driving period results

Required Experience

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT :

BS/BA Marketing or Business degree preferred or the equivalent in experience.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10 years sales experience including regional management experience

  • Strong textile industry experience or experience with design-driven products and brands

  • Proven track record of leadership, people development and market growth

  • Broad network of client and influencer relationships in the office interiors industry
