Spinneybeck | FilzFelt has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Representative/ Services & Support Assistant! This individual will be responsible for assisting those in their assigned territory with questions, quotes and transactions.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the representative for the specific territory assigned to them and assisting teammates with additional territories (as needed).

  • Communicating with a variety of contacts, including outside sales representatives, end users, purchasers, manufacturers, installers, architects and designers.

  • Receiving phone calls, emails and faxes from those in their territory.

  • Interpret architectural drawings, prepare quotes and handle transactions.

  • Generating, reviewing and adding information to reports on a weekly and monthly basis to keep all transactions current.

  • Receiving overflow phone calls on a regular basis, and occasionally covering the switchboard


The department operates from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday – Friday. Each department member is expected to sign up for coverage which includes 8:00-5:00, 8:30-5:30 and 9:00-6:00 shifts.

Required Skills

  • The ideal candidate will have exceptional mathematical, organizational and communication skills.

  • Experience reading and interpreting architectural CAD drawings highly preferred

  • The ability to prioritize work while still addressing less urgent requests in a timely manner.

  • Reliability and the capability to work independently as well as with the rest of the department.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel.

  • DocuWare, SBT & Infor are a plus.

Required Experience

  • 3+ years of relevant working experience; manufacturing or architectural/design industries are a plus.

  • Bachelor's Degree is required
