Knoll’s Warehouse Supervisor is a front-line leader, supporting all Warehouse associates in their assigned areas. This individual will supervise, plan, coordinate and control of all aspects of warehouse logistics, associate management and maintenance. This individual serves as a leader regarding safety and employee participation endeavors.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Direct inbound and outbound logistic operations

  • Ensure that all products are produced safely, efficiently and that they are complete, correct and on-time.

  • Consolidate loads with a common destination to reduce costs.

  • Check Import and Export documentation.

  • Issue shipping instructions and provide routing information

  • Maintain and enforce a Safe work environment for all associates.

  • Act as a Champion of Lean Manufacturing Principles

  • Serve as a liaison with other departments by fostering key relationships.

  • Assist in program launches and other duties as necessary in support of business objectives

Required Experience

  • Candidates must have outstanding verbal, organizational and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated experience with team building, process improvement, conflict resolution, and motivating people.

  • Understanding of fundamental Safety principles for an industrial work environment

  • Skilled in the use of ERP systems, Kronos, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Knowledge of Warehouse management, controls and procedures.

  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing & implementation.

  • Knowledge of ISO 14001/9001 required.

  • Three to five years of Warehouse supervisory experience preferred


BS degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required
