Senior Financial Analyst – Contracts and Pricing reports directly to the Manager of Pricing. This position is primarily responsible for providing both strategic financial analysis as well as tactical pricing and discounting insight to the Finance, Sales and Marketing functions for the Knoll Office Segment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze and provide pricing and discounting recommendations in a timely manner to leadership to support decision making

  • Approval and administration of the Knoll Pricing Request Form (KPR) process/software

  • Partner and discuss all aspects of job opportunities with the Sales team, including size of the opportunity, product mix, competition, timing of the order, discount requested, dealer GP and other unique qualities.

  • Continued development, implementation and maintenance of a product pricing model to evaluate large projects; including forecasted margin impact and ex poste analysis

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a pricing strategy; globally, by region, and product line

  • Provide Sales team guidance and technical knowledge on finance and accounting matters

  • Comply with internal controls and policies.

  • Complete other ad-hoc assignments as required

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance

  • Minimum five years of progressive finance and/or sales experience in an organization of appropriate scale and complexity

  • Strong analytical research and mathematical modeling skills

  • Highly proficient in MS Office Excel, i.e. pivot tables, macros, formulas, etc.

  • High level of interpersonal, written, verbal communication skills.

  • Strong skills to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. Highly detail oriented

  • Experience with Systems implementation preferred (specifically Oracle)

  • Ability to work cross functionally to achieve desired results

  • Oracle and Salesforce systems Experience is a plus

  • Ideal candidate will have a desire and willingness to grow beyond the advertised role and at the appropriate time move to another role within finance or the broader Knoll organization
