This is a Second Shift position: 2:00 – 10:00 PM

Knoll has an exciting, entry- level opportunity for those intrigued by the art of metal crafting! Our Metal Grinders in East Greenville, PA serve as specialized crafters that utilize metal fabrication equipment to perfect steel, aluminum and plastic pieces. These detail-oriented individuals use their discriminating judgement to inspect products and make technical decisions to ensure Knoll’s highest quality standards. Those with exceptional communication skills and a desire to work in a team environment will excel in this position.


  • Perform finishing tasks using grinders, drills, files or any special application tools.

  • Verify quality of products by inspecting them to ensure they meet Knoll quality and design standards.

  • Inspect and clean machinery to remain compliant with specifications.

  • Assemble, wrap, and pack components as needed; communicate issues in quality, coverage and packaging information.

  • Assist with training of fellow associates and temporary employees.

  • Perform housekeeping tasks and preventative maintenance in assigned work area.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • The ability to read and interpret paperwork associated with all job assignments.

  • Mechanical aptitude and prior experience in metal working is a plus.


  • The ability to perform diversified manual work of a repetitive, fast-paced nature.

  • Ability to handle/adjust products, perform heavy lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling, bending and twisting.

  • Comfortable working in closed, confined spaced if required.

  • The ability to work in a high humidity environment.

  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment as required.
