HOLLY HUNT is a sales and service organization, as well as designer and maker of high-end interior design furniture, lighting and textiles. HOLLY HUNT’S “to the trade” customers are interior designers and architects. 85 to 90 percent of business revenue is generated from residential purchases, while 10 to 15 percent is generated from contract, corporate or hospitality purchases.
The Production Coordinator is responsible for the back of house/admin functions for our production facility in Chicago, IL. This position will manage the scheduling and completion of all production orders, with a Client First focus. By collaborating with the Production team, designers, and the Client First team, to ensure a high level of customer service to all channels.
Principal Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
Strategic Management of ALL Production Orders:
When needed, communicate with the Client First team to ensure client’s needs are met for each order.
Manage Production Capacity, if needed, determine actions required to meet order volume and completion dates (eg. Labour planning, hours of work, order sequencing etc.)
Maintain daily shop floor work order management, to maintain order status and completion dates.
Track and publish all department key metrics.
Work with the department manager to turn around custom product quotes in 24hrs.
Support Production Manager by assisting with all EHS and continuous improvement projects.
Manage the purchasing of all supplies and components required to support the business.
Manage inventory levels.
Work with suppliers to achieve quality, on time delivery and price.
Strong skills in the following areas:

Process Improvements : Experience implementing process improvements that drive efficiencies with Suppliers.

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Supply Chain/Production/Manufacturing background
Strong technical skills, experience with Microsoft Excel, ERP systems
Spanish speaking preferred
