The A&D Manager will develop working relationships with key personnel within targeted architectural and design firms creating awareness, increasing knowledge and gaining acceptance of Knoll products and services in order to obtain their specification of Knoll products. In addition, the A&D Manager will ensure that complete and up-to-date production information is placed within each targeted A/D firm; will develop relationships with key members of the targeted firms and will articulate the features, functions, benefits and rationale for specifying Knoll products

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years interior design or equivalent experience, combined with 2 - 3 years direct selling experience

  • Must have excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a focused, goal oriented manner

  • Ability to create and implement strategic action plans to drive achievement of business goals and objectives


This position will cover the Pittsburgh/Erie Area.

Required Experience

  • Collaborate with Knoll and dealer sales team to meet regional business objectives and sales goals

  • Develop/ nurture key relationships in the design community

  • Position and promote Knoll knowledge of the workplace and physical environment

  • Educate architects and designers about Knoll products and Knoll's ability to address customer business needs and requirements

  • Create and maintain credibility, visibility and excitement about Knoll among design professionals
